With just under three per mille in her blood, a 34-year-old driver crashes into a garden fence and then flees.

Only a tire burst stops the woman.

Then she resists police officers.

Glonn

- A 34-year-old woman from the Ebersberg district will remember this car trip for a long time, assuming she can remember it at all.

Because she had almost three per mille of alcohol in her blood when she got behind the wheel of her car around 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 27th.

While drunk, the woman drives into a garden fence

As a spokesman for the Ebersberg police station announced on Sunday, January 28th, the woman was traveling in Haslach near Glonn when her heavy drinking became her undoing.

She left the road to the right and crashed her car into a garden fence.

Both the fence and the woman's vehicle were massively damaged by the violent impact.

However, that didn't stop the very drunk woman from continuing her wanderings and thus committing a hit-and-run.

Only a tire burst brought their journey to Battle of Glonn to an abrupt end.

Attentive citizens reported the damaged vehicle and the drunk driver to the Ebersberg police.

Drunk woman defends herself against police measures

Using an on-site breathalyzer test, the officers found that the woman had a blood alcohol level of just under three per mille.

“Because of the high value, a blood sample should be taken in the hospital.

However, the woman fought back vehemently against the officers, which made this measure more difficult,” said the Ebersberg law enforcement officers in their report.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)

The woman is now awaiting criminal proceedings for endangering road traffic due to the influence of alcohol, for leaving the scene of an accident without permission and for resisting police officers.

Her driver's license was also confiscated.
