A young man who was in police custody at the Vitry-sur-Seine police station tried to escape by jumping out of the window, from the 2nd floor of the police station, this Monday at the end of the day.
The young adult had been at the police station since Sunday evening around 8 p.m., facing a judicial police officer, "to answer for offenses against drug legislation", the Créteil prosecutor's office told Le Parisien this Tuesday morning.
He escapes for the duration of a “notice to the public prosecutor”
According to our information, the detainee had been left under the supervision of another colleague, time for the judicial police officer in charge of questioning the young man to report to the prosecution on the elements of the case.

When he jumped from the second floor, he was seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital with a broken femur and a displaced pelvis, and remains there as of Tuesday.
“His vital prognosis is not in jeopardy and his police custody has been lifted”, further specifies the Créteil public prosecutor's office.
And added that “an investigation into attempted escape has been opened and entrusted to the Vitry-sur-Seine police station.
