Gold Coast – So far the focus in the jungle camp has been on the dispute between Kim Virginia Hartung (28) and Mike Heiter (31).
Then, surprisingly, another celebrity took on the former Bachelor candidate.
Former footballer David Odonkor (39) felt uncomfortable because, in his opinion, Kim and Leyla Lahouar (27) weren't wearing enough.
It seems like he didn't do himself any favors with this argument - because viewers voted him out shortly afterwards.
However, in an interview with

David clarifies: He still doesn't regret anything.
After jungle camp exit: David Odonkor cannot understand criticism
On Tuesday evening (January 30, 2024), no celebrity had to give up their place - because Heinz Hoenig (72) had already been taken out of the jungle camp on medical advice.
The day before, David Odonkor got it. Back in civilization, he can not only enjoy “real” food and a long shower, but also has time to reflect on the past few days.
But he still can't really understand why he was kicked out - he's happy with himself and his performance.
“But it could also be that people throw themselves into this topic because I'm too honest and direct,” he says in an interview with

- what he means is the clothing dispute between him, Kim and Leyla.
The criticism is not a problem, but David is not aware of any guilt.
"I don't regret anything, women are allowed to do what they think is right and my statement was completely normal: 'Can you please put something on?'

The former professional athlete stands by his statements, but is disappointed that his jungle camp colleagues did not support him.
Because according to David, others also felt disturbed by the women's revealing outfits.
“Everyone didn’t want to open their mouths because they thought they’d drive better that way, but I’m different in that way and then I said it straight away,” he says.

The reality TV star coped well with the expulsion.
“I was disappointed, but I'm feeling really, really good now.
I'm happy that I was able to talk to the family on the phone and I think everything is fine," emphasizes the 39-year-old.
However, he may have to speak to Anya Elsner (20), who had a crush on him at the camp, again.
