The winter hike begins at the venerable Benediktbeuern monastery, which was founded in 725.
From afar, the onion domes lead the way through the picturesque wetland.
The approximately eleven kilometer long Moosrundweg 1 leads through this fascinating landscape, which not only inspired bird species, but also the creativity of the “Blue Rider” painters.

The tour lasts about two and a half hours, but the numerous educational and adventure trails make it possible to spend half a day in this idyllic setting.

The Evopäd course with seven movement exercises invites you to train your balance.
Along the wooded path you can learn a lot of interesting facts about local trees and bushes.
The tour leads to the Moosmühle, once a spice and medicinal herb mill, now a bird station.
The adventure path through the raised moor impresses with wobbly planks and a flying fox that lets participants float over the moor.
