Another strong intervention in the sensitive Ariane district in Nice.
Tuesday evening, a patrol of five police officers had trouble with three individuals, determined to give them a hard time.
It all starts with the spotting of a Volkswagen Polo traveling at high speed on Boulevard de l'Ariane.
“Its driver engaged in a form of urban rodeo, endangering the lives of others
,” comments a police source.
But the driver is not alone.
He is accompanied by two individuals.
The small troop is all the more suspicious because everyone has their faces hidden under a black hood.
The police decide to “box” all these beautiful people without further delay.
But then, in order to escape the police, the driver of the Polo hit the police vehicle from behind.
In a vain attempt to escape, two other parked cars were hit head-on.
The refusal to comply is already characterized.
As if that wasn't enough, the driver then tries to take the tangent on foot.
He is caught in no time by an official.
His two friends were arrested directly in the damaged vehicle.
Not without difficulty, between spitting and insults.

Four police officers injured
On them, the police discovered a machete.
The weapon is immediately seized.
Not surprisingly, all three men are drunk.
Worse, the driver of the Polo tested positive for narcotics.
The latter, aged 26, 32 and 39 respectively, were taken to the police station and placed in police custody.
Their hearings were still in progress Thursday at midday.
In a press release published on Facebook, the Unité SGP des Alpes-Maritimes police union is annoyed that
“once again”
, the accused have
“a pedigree as long as an arm”
.
In other words, a heavy criminal record.
And the union clarified that four of the police officers were injured during the operation,
“including one who could undergo surgery!”
The five officers filed a complaint, as well as the two owners of the damaged vehicles.
