King Charles III is suffering from cancer and has already started a treatment program, Buckingham announced Monday evening in a press release.
But this cancer, whose location has not been specified, has not been identified in the “usual” way by examinations carried out following the manifestation of symptoms.
It was discovered unexpectedly
“during the
king’s recent hospital intervention
for
benign prostatic hypertrophy ,
”
the press release specifies.
The suspicions raised during this intervention ultimately led to additional examinations being carried out, confirming the diagnosis of cancer.
