Le Figaro Nice
Discomfort in the National Gendarmerie.
Very serious discomfort even, since several pornographic photos depicting soldiers from the mobile brigade of Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes) have circulated in all the companies in France, up to the highest levels of the armed force.
Information revealed by
Mediapart
confirmed by several corroborating sources in Le
Figaro
on Wednesday.
The case begins at the beginning of November 2023. At least three photos - four according to the investigation site - are then broadcast on a Facebook loop reserved for the gendarmes.
To be accepted into the group, you must provide your individual identification number (Nigend).
In these images - which we obtained - we can see a young blonde woman in different positions.
Sometimes on all fours with a badge of the Antibes mobile brigade on the back, sometimes on her knees, held on a leash by two men facing her, each dressed in a gendarmerie polo shirt and their non-commissioned officer stripes on their chests .
Military equipment is also misused as sex toys.
Including a Sig-Sauer SP 2022 handgun and a tonfa (baton with a side handle), both wearing a condom.

Followers of libertinism
According to certain testimonies from police officers given to
Mediapart
, the photos were taken in the premises of the Antibes squadron.
Information denied by two soldiers at Le
Figaro
.
“It was in a private setting, between consenting people
,” maintains one of them.
And to specify that the young woman, a fan of libertinage with her companion (who is not a police officer), would be at the origin of this fine game with the soldiers.
It would also be the companion himself who took the photos.
The fact remains that the little scene - private or not - undermines the exemplary nature demanded by the role of gendarme.
The use of a service weapon as a sex toy and the misappropriation of the badge of the mobile brigade further damage the image of the gendarmerie, worthy heir of the Marechaussee.
A few days after their publication on the Facebook group, the photos were deleted.
But he was already too late.
Some gendarmes, offended, were quick to pass them on to management.
The General Inspectorate of the National Gendarmerie (IGGN) was immediately contacted for an internal investigation and a team of investigators dispatched to Antibes.
It is unknown at this stage whether any disciplinary action has been taken.
When contacted, the management of the National Gendarmerie indicated that it did not intend to communicate on this matter.
No more than the IGGN.
