Police officers secure evidence on a carnival float after a pedestrian was run over.

A 20-year-old man fell under a moving carnival float in St. Goarshausen near Koblenz late on Saturday afternoon and suffered fatal injuries.
It is still unclear how the incident could have occurred after the move, as the police announced in the evening.
The young man from the Rhein-Lahn district died from his injuries in hospital.
Koblenz - The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
According to the information, the numerous witnesses to the incident were looked after by pastors at the community association.
