“have given their agreement”
to participate in the experiment of wearing uniforms at school, announced the Minister of National Education Nicole Belloubet, this Sunday, February 18, on BFM TV.

It has an interest because basically it is the idea, not of abolishing differences, but rather of creating unity, of creating a feeling of belonging, of trying to work on this notion of 'equality'
, argued the new tenant of rue de Grenelle.
The measure, detailed by Gabriel Attal, at the time Minister of National Education, and confirmed by Emmanuel Macron during his press conference on January 16, confirms the return of the single outfit in around a hundred public establishments in the first and second degrees, from the start of the 2024 school year. In Béziers, the experiment even begins at the end of January.
The objective is to achieve a possible generalization of the uniform at school in 2026.

Initially scheduled for mid-February, the final list of establishments willing to experiment with uniforms in class will not be known before June.
This week, around fifteen school groups announced that they were withdrawing from the experiment due to lack of agreement with the educational community.
“There is a double lock

The agreement of the board of directors or the school council and of course that of the local authority is required.
