Two days after canceling the departure of his advisors for talks at the White House, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to send them for talks at the White House next week - this is what senior American officials told Walla.
A senior American official said that the Prime Minister's office contacted the White House and asked to reschedule a visit by Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegavi to discuss a possible operation in Rafah.
"We are now discussing with them a date that will be convenient for everyone. We are working on a date. It will probably happen quite soon, but we don't have an exact date yet," said the American official.
The Prime Minister's Office announced in response that Netanyahu did not approve the departure of the delegation to Washington.

Netanyahu decided not to send the Israeli delegation to the US, after the Americans abstained and did not veto a vote in the UN Security Council on a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan, and the immediate and unconditional release of all the abductees.
In a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, it was stated: "The US did not veto the new wording that calls for a ceasefire without the condition of releasing the abductees. This is a clear retreat from the consistent position of the US in the Security Council since the beginning of the war."
