Interim status in the insolvency proceedings of the Maisach brewery: The insolvency administrator speaks of “promising takeover discussions.”
Munich/Maisach - The brewery still has a very loyal, large customer base - an elementary basis for a successful takeover and continuation, reports insolvency administrator Hanns Pöllmann in a statement on Wednesday.
There is currently enough beer in stock up to and including the Maypole celebrations.
To ensure that it stays that way, new brews will be prepared at the end of March at the request of the administrator.
This ensures the flow of beer until the middle of the year.
The new brews reflect the currently promising takeover talks with interested parties, which will last until April, said Hanns Pöllmann.
Thanks to those involved
“When I started my administrative work around eight weeks ago, I emphasized that things can only continue if everyone involved in the process participates in a benevolent and active manner,” says Pöllmann.
Fortunately, that happened.
Therefore, based on the current state of facts and knowledge, things are looking good for a continuation.
Pöllmann: “I would like to thank everyone involved - especially the customers - for the good, pleasant cooperation and I assume that it will stay that way until the process is completed.”
The insolvency proceedings are expected to open on April 1, 2024.
Hanns Pöllmann from the law firm Pöllmann – Rechtsanwälte – Insolvency Administrator has been involved in the preliminary insolvency administration of the Maisach brewery since January 29, 2024.
