The canine unit today (Wednesday) asked for help in the search for 14-year-old Shlomo Kleinerman, who disappeared this morning in the Kiryat Malachi area.
This morning, he contacted his mother Giti, and declared his intention to run away from his school in the city - and has been missing ever since.

Shlomo is the younger brother of Moishi Kleinerman, who disappeared at the age of 16 in the Mount Meron area and has been missing for two years.

Moishi, a yeshiva student from Modi'in Illit, went with his friends in March 2022 on a trip to the north when at one point they came to the grave of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in the Miron settlement.
There the group split up, and while his friends continued their trip, Moishi stayed in the tomb complex and asked to be alone.
Since then, he cut off contact with him.
The police arrested several suspects involved in Moishi's disappearance, but they were released, and the investigation is at a dead end.

The mother of the 17-year-old boy says that he used to travel a lot and would send her pictures by email.
"Now I am in the Ari's grave, now I am in this grave.
He would send me landmarks and tell me how fun he was.
He would send me pictures from Joseph's tomb and say he prayed for me.
He always sought to be good in the world," she says.
The last time the family had contact with Moishi was on Friday. "He went to Miron and I spoke to him on the phone.
He was on the bus, I greeted him and we said goodbye," she recalls. "We were sure that on Saturday night he returned to the yeshiva.
We trusted him a lot.
He was a very responsible and orderly boy.
I said: 'Okay, he went to Miron, returned to the yeshiva and everything is fine,' but a few days pass and he doesn't call."
