With
Lionel Scaloni
at the helm and a group of talented young people who promise high performance, the future of the Argentine National Team is in very good hands.
The fans were fascinated by the debut of
Valentín Carboni
, player of
AC
Monza
in Italy,
in the Scaloneta friendly match against
Costa Rica
in Los Angeles, United States.
Already with a comfortable 3-1, in the 36th minute of the second half , Ángel di María
retired
to give way to Carboni to demonstrate his skills with the albiceleste shirt.
He also became
the 47th player to make Scaloni's senior national team debut
.
The 19-year-old midfielder created great illusions with his elegant left foot.
Two and a half minutes into extra time, Carboni received a pass that gave him the perfect opportunity to dazzle with a shot that forced
Keylor Navas
, Costa Rica's goalkeeper, to save the left-footed shot and avoid Argentina's fourth goal.
Let's see that left hand, Valentín?

Son of
Ezequiel Kely Carboni
, a former Lanús player and coach, and brother of
Franco Carboni
, current player at Ternana Calcio in Italy's Serie B, Valentín Carboni is the third youngest player on the Argentine National Team.
They are followed by
Alejandro Garnacho
and
Facundo Buonanotte
, both 18 years old.
The Buenos Aires native currently plays for Monza in Italy, and his transfer belongs to
Inter
.
He has been demonstrating his talent since he debuted in Italy's Serie A at the age of 17 at
Inter Milan,
with whom he won the Super Cup and the Italian Cup.
So far this season, he has played 23 games for Monza, with two goals and four assists.
After his short but impressive debut with the albiceleste, Scaloni spoke about what he thought about Carboni in the post-victory press conference: "Garnacho and Carboni are guys who can contribute and we will see in the future if they will be with us.
But I am happy, it is not "It's not easy to play with this shirt or with these rivals who make your life difficult
."
Carboni's future after his loan at Inter is expected to be in
Javier Mascherano
's under-23 team at the
Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
