It was the last evening at the Muette hookah bar before confinement. It ended at 6 a.m. on October 17, 2020, with a bullet in the head which struck 21-year-old Alassane. Bilel S., his city friend, had pulled the trigger of his revolver, in the parking lot of the Blue Elephant, in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise) after warning him that he was going " to smoke it ". “I didn’t do it on purpose,” he then told the audience as he fled.
After three days of hearing, the Val-d'Oise Assize Court sentenced Bilel this Thursday evening to 22 years of criminal imprisonment. However, she considered that he had not wanted to voluntarily kill Alassane, acquitting him of the acts of murder. On the other hand, she found the 26-year-old accused guilty of violence resulting in death without intention of causing it, with use of a weapon and as a legal repeat offender.
