Currently, more and more planning errors are becoming apparent at the new Riemerling sports campus. The municipality of Hohenbrunn therefore now wants to take legal action.

Hohenbrunn

– Two rooms in the Riemerling sports campus need to be retrofitted. The Hohenbrunner building committee approved a maximum of 50,000 euros for the installation of air conditioning. The problem: The VHS room gets extremely hot, especially in summer. Although there is a ventilation system, building authority manager Martin Strobl himself felt its functionality: “That is a planning error.” In summer, during seminar times, the critical range of over 30 degrees could easily be reached.

The bouldering area is also being upgraded

Air conditioning should help. It should cost around 40,000 euros. It makes sense to connect the bouldering area of TSV Hohenbrunn-Riemerling, which is next to the VHS room, to the facility. Although there are no complaints here, this room can be rated similarly in terms of climate. This would add another 5,000 to 7,000 euros. With a little financial buffer for any fire protection measures, the amount comes to a maximum of 50,000 euros.

Lawsuit will be a “difficult undertaking”

The committee had nothing to complain about in the work. But the question was whether the planning had been wrong. There was a clear yes from the mayor. Stefan Straßmair (CSU) made it clear that this was probably not the only problem with the planning and work. “We are currently preparing a huge lawsuit,” said the town hall boss. “It will be a difficult undertaking because we have to prove everything we criticize. We don’t know what the outcome will be.”
