In the podcast with Barbara Schöneberger, Mario Barth doesn't hold back. The comedian mercilessly criticizes the younger generation in particular.

Berlin - Mario Barth (50) usually doesn't mince his words - be it during his live appearances or in interviews. In the podcast of celebrity colleague Barbara Schöneberger (49), his fellow human beings are now getting rid of their fat again. The comedian makes some tough statements, especially to the younger generation.

Mario Barth gossips about young people with Barbara Schöneberger

In her podcast “With the Waffles of a Woman,” Barbara Schöneberger invites well-known guests to her studio every week. In the episode from October 16, 2023, the cult blonde talks to Mario Barth about a wide variety of topics, be it a lawsuit over Königsberg dumps, dreams of bomb threats - or even her young fellow citizens.

Mario Barth talks about a visit to a café - one of the employees in particular remains in his memory. “I have nothing against vegans, but he was a bit weak,” is how he describes the young man, who had difficulty making him a regular orange juice instead of an orange-ginger-sprout juice.

The barista was also thrown off course by his celebrity customer's coffee order. “Then he asked which milk [...] and I ordered cow's milk. “He was really shocked,” Barth looks back. "And he looks at me and asks 'Why can you tolerate this?' – and then I say, 'You're a different generation. You are generation wet wipes, we didn't have that.' Those were handkerchiefs that my mother spit in.”

Barbara Schöneberger is just annoyed by some podcast guests

Every Monday, Barbara Schöneberger publishes a new episode of her podcast “With the Waffles of a Woman”. It is understandable that with so many episodes, not every guest left a good impression on the presenter. “Towards the end of my year, I always have the feeling that if someone tells me that they have released a very personal album that they put a lot of heart and soul into and that it is the best album they have ever written, then that is it “I get slight signs of fatigue,” she revealed in an interview with Matze Knop.

Barbara Schöneberger: “There are some conversations you just don’t have with our generation.”

Mario Barth's experience in the "hip" café was very well received by Barbara Schöneberger and the two of them can hardly stop laughing. “You just don’t have some conversations with people from our generation, but maybe you’re really weakened today by microplastics and all that stuff,” she theorizes, and her counterpart says: “Sagrotan used to be available in hospitals, but now everyone has it in their handbags .”

Editor's note: This text has already appeared in the past. Many readers were particularly interested in it. That's why we're offering it again.

In addition to the younger generation, the TV careers of the two are also discussed in the podcast - and Barbara Schöneberger reveals that she once had to eat wet chips on a TV show in order to chew more quietly.
