Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi are both no strangers to reality TV - but they haven't appeared together yet. Could that change this year?
South Africa – In autumn 2024, “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” will celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary with an all-stars season. The rumor mill about possible participants is currently abuzz. Which former jungle camp participants will return when the motto is: “I am a star – showdown of the jungle legends” in a few months? Two who have now come into play are the scandalous couple Verena Kerth (42) and Marc Terenzi (45).
Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth would “immediately” go back into the jungle
The two have already appeared solo in numerous reality TV formats - including in the jungle camp. The two, who have been lovers since 2022, have not yet been seen together in any shows. If they have their way, that could change in late summer. “I love the jungle, I would do it in a heartbeat,” says Marc Terenzi, who even won the jungle crown in 2017, in an interview with “Gala”. He could “absolutely” imagine taking part with his partner.
Verena Kerth was the first to have to leave the jungle camp when she took part in the 16th season, but she wouldn't be averse to trying again: "I would go in again straight away," she explains in the interview. “We haven’t been seen together in a reality format yet, that’s often been suspected,” she adds, indicating: “It hasn’t happened yet. Let’s see what happens…”
Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth: Wedding should take place in 2024
Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi made their relationship public in the summer of 2022. After Kerth's participation in the jungle camp in January 2023, the couple got engaged. In October 2023, they even published photos of a wedding in Las Vegas, but later said that the marriage there was not legitimate. So the big yes is still pending - the couple already revealed to RTL that it should happen in 2024, but did not give an exact date. So it could be an exciting year for both of them in different ways.

So reality TV fans still have to be patient to see who will actually end up sitting around the campfire in the Allstars camp. A former jungle camp candidate is already ruling out participation.
