There has been another accident with a light rail in Stuttgart, and two people were injured. According to initial estimates, the damage amounts to around 100,000 euros. According to initial findings, the 38-year-old driver of a panel van ignored a red light, the police announced on Thursday.
Stuttgart - There was a collision with a light rail on the U12 line. The driver of the van and the 29-year-old driver of the light rail were slightly injured and taken to hospital as a precaution. There were no passengers on the light rail when the accident occurred on Wednesday.
Just Wednesday there was an accident between a car and a light rail train, in which both car occupants, including an 11-year-old child, were injured.
At the beginning of March, a ten-year-old girl was hit by a light rail train and suffered life-threatening injuries. At the end of February, a light rail system collided with another. Several people were injured - some critically. dpa
