The “crime scene” from Münster enjoys cult status among many crime fans, but for others it is too silly. How does actress ChrisTine Urwurf deal with the criticism?
Münster - These are ratings that are otherwise only exceeded by major sporting events in this country, such as the World Cup or European Football Championship: “Tatort: Unter Gärtneren” attracted almost 13 million television viewers on Sunday evening (March 17th), according to

in front of the home screens - a massive success for the Münster investigative team around Axel Prahl (63), Jan Josef Liefers (59) and ChrisTine Urwurf (53), which the editions from other cities are difficult to match.
Too much slapstick in the “Tatort” from Münster? That's what ChrisTine Urdict says
The “crime scene” from Münster has long enjoyed cult status among die-hard crime fans, not least thanks to its strange, often exaggerated humor. However, the humorous tone is a matter of taste, because despite the excellent ratings, there were some viewers who had little use for “Tatort: Among Gardeners”. There is always criticism that the cases of Thiel (Prahl) and Boerne ( Liefers ) are too slapdash.
ChrisTine Urdict, who has played forensic doctor Silke “Alberich” Haller in the Münster “crime scene” since 2002, has no problem with that, as she explains in an interview with IPPEN.MEDIA: “First of all, I have nothing against slapstick. For example, I really enjoy watching sketches with Stan and Olli ("Dick and Stupid"), the fathers of the clothes box." She can't understand the criticism: "I don't think our 'crime scene' is too slapdash. He is characterized by a black, subtle humor that viewers love.”
In use since 2002: The 46th “crime scene” case is pending for ChrisTine Urdict and Co
The next “Tatort” edition from Münster is already in the works: The episode has the promising working title “The Curse of the Grave Mask” and will once again unite the popular trio of Axel Prahl, Jan Josef Liefers and ChrisTine Urwurf. For Chief Inspector Frank Thiel and forensic doctor Prof. Dr. Dr. For Karl-Friedrich Boerne it is the 46th case – just like for “Alberich”.

She still remembers the day when ChrisTine Urwurf was hired for her role: “I was very happy and at least jumped under the ceiling. The role was designed for me. We have now been filming the crime scene for over 20 years and I am happy to be able to play Silke Haller alias 'Alberich'!”

It is not yet clear when “The Curse of the Grave Mask (AT)” will be shown on television. However, since an episode from Münster was recently shown, viewers will probably have to be patient. Exciting: ChrisTine Urwurf already seems to have a precise idea of a possible “crime scene” outcome.
