At the beginning of February, seven alleged members of the Lyon ultra-right were indicted in the same case for "criminal conspiracy", a charge punishable by five to ten years in prison, and "participation in a group formed with a view to preparing of violence or degradation. Two of them, aged around twenty, known figures of the ultra-right in Lyon, had been placed in pre-trial detention.

On the evening of November 11, dozens of people dressed in black, their faces partly masked, attempted to break down the door of a premises in Old Lyon using fireworks and iron bars, according to several witnesses.
