We have a duty of consistency and clarity towards voters. Rachida Dati has decided to leave the LR to join the government of Emmanuel Macron that we are fighting. Is she still able to embody the gathering and build it? Horizons wants its candidate. The MoDem says nothing. The left wing of Renaissance is reluctant. Rachida Dati is campaigning against the LR candidate in the European elections, even though it is an important deadline for the right. In politics, you have to be responsible and have a bit of morality. You don't sell out your beliefs. This makes for a loathsome political spectacle and it is hardly surprising that people are turning to populist parties. I therefore decided to leave the “Changer Paris” group and create the group “Les Républicains et Centristes – Demain Paris!”
Rachida Dati therefore no longer embodies the only figure…
