The “Aubergine” in the Hotel Vier Saisonen Starnberg has a star from the “Michelin Guide” for the tenth time in a row. Chef Maximilian Moser doesn't rest on his laurels.

– Chef Maximilian Moser (38) and his team at the Starnberg top restaurant “Aubergine” were able to celebrate a milestone anniversary in the Hotel Vier Saisonn this week: the tenth Michelin star in a row. The hotel said that the star restaurant continues to be one of the top addresses on Germany's gourmet menu.
After receiving the award from the renowned “Guide Michelin”, the chef emphasized: “Everyone can feel addressed by the award; their position doesn’t matter. From the dishwasher to the service – without them the system doesn’t work. I am also very grateful to all my former companions for the work they have done.” The chef does not want to rest on his laurels. “By no means has everything been achieved,” said Moser. “If I felt full, I would have to grab my knives. I think it’s extremely important to continue to be ambitious.”
The “Aubergine” is the only star-rated restaurant in the district, and it has been that way for the entire ten years. Moser has been the head chef at the Four Seasons Starnberg since 2012.
