Well-known reinforcement for the “Rosenheim Cops”: A “Dahoam is Dahoam” star will soon be there. It's not a permanent role, but it's not an ordinary one either.
Munich - personnel hammer for the Rosenheim cops! The ZDF format secured the services of a man who, despite being only 23 years old, is already well known to many TV viewers: Adrian Bräunig. He let it leak via his Instagram account weeks ago that he would appear on the ZDF series. But in what role? As a main character? Or is it just an episodic appearance, like the one Andreas Gabalier or a former Bibi Blocksberg child star had already made?
“Rosenheim Cops” hit: “Dahoam is Dahoam” star takes part in winter special
The truth is somewhere in between: Bräunig will only appear once. But not in a normal episode, but in the 90-minute winter special “Totholz”, which is broadcast in the colder season. This is reported by the
Oberbayerisches Volksblatt
in an interview with Bräunig. “For me it was actually very doable given the role,” he says. “What was more interesting to me was that we shot a 90-minute film. Completely different conditions apply.”
Normally, Bräunig, who lives in Munich and who, according to
talent-scout.eu
, went to high school in Starnberg, is more used to the short format: he played Jonas “Joschi” Faber in the BR series “Dahoam is Dahoam” for years, had aloud

has also had roles in “Hubert and Staller”, “Sturm der Liebe” and “Die Bergretter”. Now the next career move as an actor in the Rosenheim Cops film.

Bräunig also reveals details to
OVB
about his appearance in the Rosenheim Cops special: “It's about the murder of Sebastian Kreitmaier, whose family runs a timber business. During the investigation it turns out that there are also discrepancies within the family, which of course then have to be found out and understood. And alongside Arthur Klemt and Michael Mendl, I’m also part of this family.”
Adrian Bräunig grew up with the “Rosenheim Cops”.
He already has a long connection with the Rosenheim cops. The 23-year-old reveals that he “grew up with the series as a child.” "I'm not a hardcore fan or someone who tunes in every day, but I've always really liked the series, it conveys a lot of charisma."

Bräunig is open to joining the Rosenheim Cops in the future, “but for now it’s not an issue for me.” In this respect, this personnel cracker - unlike others - will not cause any headwind among the fans. They were recently shaken or even annoyed by various changes among the Rosenheim cops: It was only last season that a new detective was introduced, Michaela Weingartner as Julia Beck, who was then replaced by a temporary detective. In addition, the audience also had to cope with a temporary break from favorite Miriam Stockl (Marisa Burger). What's next for Stockl? That is now clear.
