The elected mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav, is expected to enter the mayor's office this Sunday - which he left five years ago when he was ousted by Einat Kalish Rotem. In the upcoming elections, Yahav defeated David Etzioni in the second round, and in his winning speech he promised that he would arrange an orderly overlap with Klish, "if she agrees" - but according to a post she made today (Thursday) on her Facebook account, it appears that this will not happen.
Rotem has not really been seen in the city hall since she was defeated in the first round of the elections. On the table in the mayor's office, she left Lihav a box of chocolates from Italy and a letter to Kony referring to a document summarizing her work during her term, "short and partial", as she put it.

It's de Jae Vu for her entry into office - so Yahav offered to pass her an orderly overlap. She, then and since then, was not honored to be helped by his experience after 15 years in office, his tenure as MK, as assistant to Jerusalem Mayor Teddy Kolek, etc. A senior official in the municipality said that during her five years in office, she avoided talking to him
. "Today I left all the key and significant information to the incoming mayor," thanks the public for the privilege given to her but there is no acknowledgment of failure or at least an admission of the stinging defeat with the abandonment of 90% or more of her supporters.
