Spring weather has boosted the job market over the past four weeks. Among other things, catering businesses brought their employees back from the winter break.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – “The spring-like weather has also had an impact on the labor market in recent weeks”: This is the conclusion reached by Dr. Nicole Cujai, chairwoman of the management of the employment agency in Rosenheim. The number of unemployed people in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district fell by 122 people to 1,586 men and women in March compared to the previous month. The unemployment rate is 2.2 percentage points – in February it was 2.4 percent.
Spring weather stimulates the labor market: agency boss gives current figures
According to Cujai, companies in particular in weather-dependent professional fields such as civil engineering, civil engineering and horticulture as well as hotels, restaurants and tourism have resumed their work "and brought back employees who they had laid off over the winter months". Although the mood in the economy has “deteriorated a little” and companies are sometimes more hesitant about hiring new employees: “The labor market remains stable and the demand for skilled workers and workers is still high in many areas.”
The employment agency is currently aware of 2,000 open apprenticeship positions
The management of the employment agency cares about training young people. Five months before the start of training on September 1st, the head of the agency turns to young adults who will finish school in the summer and don't yet know what will happen next: "It's best to call our careers advisors straight away on 0 80 31 /20 22 22. The colleagues help you find the right training or further school or the right field of study.” The chances of finding a training place are good.
