Gideon Sa'ar announces his retirement from the government/Niv Aharonson
The weakening of the state camp continues and it drops to 33 mandates, according to Maariv's weekly mandate survey today (Friday). Likud increases by two seats to 19. After Sa'ar's retirement, the State Right Party under his leadership rises above the blocking percentage and wins four mandates. The religious Zionist party falls below the blocking percentage. Both the opposition and the coalition are weakened by two mandates each. The balance is 65 for the opposition and 46 for the coalition.

The percentage of respondents to the survey who believe that Netanyahu is the most suitable for the position of Prime Minister increased significantly this week. 38% answered that he is the most suitable for the job compared to 34% last week. Support for Gantz for Prime Minister remains similar. 45% support him compared to 44% last week.

Findings of a survey conducted for the Ma'ariv newspaper by "Lazar Research" led by Dr. Menachem Lazar in collaboration with the panel of Internet respondents Panel4All.co.il.
The survey was conducted on March 27-28, 2024 and was answered by 503 respondents who are a representative sample of the adult population in the State of Israel over the age of 18 and above, Jews and Arabs. The maximum sampling error in this survey is 4.4%.
