The spread between German BTPs and Bunds drops to 139 points with the Italian annual yield rising by 2.9 points to 3.78% and the German one by 3.7 points to 2.39%.
Prysmian made a solitary move (+6.88%), which announced the acquisition of the American Encore Wire. Stellantis (+2.73%) and Leonardo (+1.76%) also performed well together with their European rivals, favored by the extension of tensions between Israel and Hamas to Iran. Purchases on Unicredit banks (+1.54%), BancoBpm (+1.48%), Intesa (+1.47%), Mps (+1.13%) and Bps (+0.74%).
The drop in crude oil (WTI -1% to 84.82 dollars per barrel) slows down Tenaris (-1.49%) and Eni (-0.92%), while Saipem (-0.33%) turns negative and eliminates the rise initial due to the assessments of Rbc analysts. Terna (-0.94%), Snam (-0.7%), Amplifon (-0.64%), Generali (-0.62%) and Tim (-0.48%) were also weak.
Among the smaller capitalization stocks, Bioera (+2.75%), RaiWay (+2.36%) and Sogefi (+2%) rose, while Danieli (-2.47%), Gabetti (-2.39) showed a minus %) and Juventus (-1.12%).
