Kim Virginia has already caused a stir in the past with sharp-tongued statements - but now the reality TV star crossed a line and became violent on an RTL show.
Cologne – Kim Virginia Hartung (28) is no stranger to reality TV fans. She gained prominence in Germany through her participation in the RTL jungle camp in January 2024. The Mannheim native only came in sixth place there, but the influencer still caused a stir. There were repeated loud arguments with both IBES colleague Leyla Lahouar (27) and her ex-affair Mike Heiter (31). But when she took part in the RTL+ format “Celebrities Separated”, a situation with Kim Virginia finally escalated.
“You are a piece of trash”: Kim Virginia has a heated argument with ex Emanuell
The second episode of “Prominently Separated” caused a stir. Former “Temptation Island” participant Nico Legat (26) shocked his father Thorsten Legat (55) so much with his behavior on the RTL show that the 55-year-old publicly distanced himself from his son. But in episode three, ex-jungle camp diva Kim Virginia caused a real scandal - and hit fellow candidate Max Bornmann in the face with the palm of his hand.

During a game, the “Celebrity Breakup” contestants have to answer questions asked by production. Kim Virginia doesn't like her ex-affair Emanuell's answer at all and they get into a fight - the 28-year-old in particular can't help it and keeps harassing her ex verbally. The other reality TV participants try to dissuade Kim from her actions, but she won't let them.
“Kim, leave me alone,” says Emmanuel, who is still quite relaxed, but the man from Mannheim continues to shoot against her ex: “You haven’t achieved anything in your life” or “You’re a piece of trash” are just two of the statements , which Kim Virginia throws at her counterpart. The other “Celebrity Separated” participants are speechless. “She has no respect. She knows no decency,” comments Nico Legat in the interview.
“Don’t tackle me”: Kim Virginia hits Max in the face with the palm of her hand on the RTL show
Max Bornmann wants to defuse the situation and no longer watch from a distance how the two of them are dealing with each other. From the side he pulls the 28-year-old away from her ex. “Who’s grabbing me right now?” she says in surprise – and the influencer isn’t thrilled. “Hey, don’t grab me!” Kim Virginia breaks free from his grip by pushing Max away: “Don’t grab me, what’s wrong with you?” She tells him several times that she doesn’t want to be touched.
Even though she is already separated from her fellow candidate, she still reaches out and hits him in the face with the palm of her hand. Kim Virginia doesn't seem to see any fault in her actions - quite the opposite. Max asks her if she wants to apologize for the slap, but she replies blankly: "Do you think I'll apologize to you if you tackle me? [...] I said: 'Don't touch me' – three times!”
The other “Celebrity Separated” participants are shocked. “There has to be a consequence,” says Mike Cees. A few minutes later, the production tells the audience what will happen to Kim Virginia: “Physical violence has no place in 'Prominent Separate'. That's why Kim Virginia and Emanuell have to leave the villa." The 28-year-old still can't fully understand it the next morning: "It's crazy, I have to process it for a moment." Nevertheless, the two pack their suitcases and move out of the villa. Kim Virginia just can't help it: She recently took another shot at her former jungle camp roommate on Instagram.
