For a 'young' and innovative brand like Voyah (Dongfeng Group) which proposes itself with the claim "Designing evolution experience: where nature and technology meet in harmony for a new driving philosophy" what place and moment could be better than Milan Design Week for the debut of its two electrified models in Italy and to show an interesting vision of the future.

In addition to the Icozy Concept which will be exhibited, for the entire duration of the Milanese event, in the Natuzzi showroom in via Durini 24, Voyah has in fact brought the Free SUV and the Dream MPV to the prestigious context of Palazzo Serbelloni, an architectural jewel and home in which the cars are shown through a 'site specific' work created by the artist and designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba.

Free and Dream, in particular, are the present of Voyah - a premium brand founded five years ago in China in the context of the Dongfeng giant - in terms of technological research, new materials, performance and the use of electric and hybrid engines.

In detail, Free is a 4.9 meter long electric sport utility that combines space and comfort with high tech. It provides 489 HP, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and, thanks to the 106.7 kWh battery, allows a WLTP range of up to 500 km. Voyah Dream is instead a multi-purpose vehicle with sliding doors of 'large' size (5.3 meters in length) which offers - in addition to the luxurious external and internal finishes - a spacious interior with flexible seat configuration to accommodate up to six passengers in addition to the driver. For this mpv Voyah provides two solutions: an electric-only version and a plug-in hybrid with a 1.5 turbo petrol thermal unit. The near future of the Chinese Premunì brand is called Icozy and was presented at the Milan Design Week as a futuristic concept car. The cockpit with front seats that can rotate to form a 'living room' and the dashboard with a retractable steering wheel suggest that behind Icozy there is also a program for top-level autonomous driving.

Closer to reality, however futuristic, is the proposal for a propulsion system which - within the Chinese category of NEVs, i.e. new energy vehicles - will lead to the debut in Icozy of a scheme which involves the use of an alternative fuel to petrol or diesel, specifically hydrogen.

The parent company Dongfeng, moreover, has been working for some time on the use of hydrogen to power the engines of industrial vehicles and has an ongoing collaboration with Nissan Venucia to market an H2 car.

"We are happy to launch Voyah and its new models right in Milan in these intense days, made up of a mix of design and technology, luxury and innovation, research and sustainability - declared Bruno Mafrici, CEO of Dongfeng Italia and Car Mobility - We want to tell through our creations how innovation is changing the very concept of mobility and what our plans are for a future which, as the chosen claim states, is in harmony".

The debut of Voyah in our market - which is characterized, we read in the note, by its versatile approach and concrete commitment in favor of electric mobility - will see CA Auto Bank, the bank controlled by Crédit, alongside the Chinese Premium brand Agricultural Consumer Finance.

"It is a pride to have been chosen as Dongfeng's financial partner for Italy - said Giacomo Carelli, CEO and general manager of CA Auto Bank - as further proof of our role as a reference in the electric vehicle market, thanks to our history century and our tailor-made financial solutions".
