Drop in temperature instead of spring weather: winter comeback with ground frost in April
The weather has become significantly colder, especially in central and southern Germany. “It was really cold there this morning, below five degrees in places, and there was even ground frost in places.” Winter is making a comeback there, but the weather in the rest of the country will no longer be particularly good in April either. “Lots of clouds, rain showers – typical weather for the season. At the edge of the Alps there was even well over 100 liters of rain, and at higher altitudes there was snow.
Weather delivers “the full program” with rain, thunderstorms and wind

The changeable weather is caused by the low Yupadee, which is currently moving over Germany with significantly cooler air "and the supply of warm air masses from southwestern Europe with Sahara dust has been cut off for the time being."
According to the expert, temperatures will rise again at the end of the month, but the spring weather is slowly “creeping out of the basement.” It will probably not be above 20 degrees until May. At least according to the centennial calendar's prediction for spring, there are still a few beautiful days in April.
