The party lasted all night in a pavilion in Épinay-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis) last weekend. Stony H., an influencer, had reserved the address in the Orgemont district for a private birthday party, on the night of Saturday to Sunday. Not discreetly enough apparently.
Around 5 a.m., “around thirty individuals” wearing hoods burst into the property. “They were equipped with knives and baseball bats,” said a police source. It seems that only the star of the day interested them. “The other guests were not attacked,” adds the same source.
Apparently well informed, the intruders target Stony and take his personal belongings. They rob him of a bag from a luxury leather goods manufacturer, his identity papers, a Rolex watch, two bracelets from a major jeweler, 5,000 euros and a more unexpected object: dentures. set with fake diamonds. During the raid, Stony was not injured.
A complaint was filed, and an investigation was opened for “aggravated theft”, indicates Éric Mathais, the public prosecutor of Bobigny. She was entrusted to the Epinay police station.
The comeback of dental jewelry
During her complaint, the victim indicated that it was dentures set with “diamonds”. These are actually dental rhinestones. At the time of the attack, he was not wearing the ornament on him since it was in his bag. This trendy piece of jewelry, which fits onto the teeth, is a real eye-catcher. His followers prefer to call him “grillz”, a slightly more glamorous term.
First very popular in the rap world, around twenty years ago, this coquetry is making a comeback. Stylist, a fashion and beauty site, confirms this: “Dental rhinestones shine on the hype radars.”
The perpetrators of the theft and their loot are actively sought. Knowing that these tooth jewels are adjusted to the teeth of their owner, not sure that they will find a buyer.
