Create a fourth autonomous national prosecutor's office entirely dedicated to the fight against organized crime. After the hearings of the Senate Commission on the scale of drug trafficking, the idea is shaking up the worlds of justice and politics. And the Chancellery is seriously interested in it. Certainly, in the new text devoted to organized crime, already drafted, the measure is not provided for. The framework of the bill remains the reform of the status of the repentant, on the model of the Italian anti-mafia law, and the creation of special assize courts extended to all aspects of organized crime, including the settling of scores.
The study of such a development will be entrusted to Jean-François Ricard, still today the national anti-terrorism prosecutor but who will tomorrow be the special advisor to the Minister of Justice.
