The resounding fiasco of the Iranian attack on Israel is reshuffling the geopolitical cards of the Middle East. And it offers the Jewish State the opportunity to conclude, in less bad conditions, the current phase of the war against Hamas.
The government in Tehran certainly had less laudable aims by sending hundreds of missiles and drones to Israeli territory. This raid is all the more perplexing given that the mullahs' regime has always surrounded its ferocity with great tactical prudence. In the shadow war which has pitted him against the Hebrew State for years, he preferred to make his auxiliaries act - the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas. And avoided any frontal challenge, even when the Israeli services increased explosions at nuclear sites, computer attacks and targeted assassinations of engineers on its territory...
