Emigrating was not in his plans
. However, in
2019
, due to the complex situation of insecurity that
Argentina
was going through at that time,
he chose to leave his country in search of a better future
, according to his words.
As a result of this, the 29-year-old
woman
- originally from the
Province of Córdoba
-
made the decision to migrate to Italy
with Andrés, her husband, and their two children,
in April 2019
.
With great anguish, he said goodbye to his loved ones and got on a plane to an unknown destination
thousands of kilometers from his home
.
“
It was very hard
,
it was difficult for us to leave Argentina
. Above all, for our children, who were small and separated from their family. Despite this
, it was worth it
,” says Evelyn Scholz in an interview with
Clarín
.
A radical decision
The protagonist of this story was born in the
city of Córdoba, Province of Córdoba
. There, at the end of high school, she began teaching Physical Education at the
Provincial University of Córdoba, better known as “Ipef”
.
After much effort and dedication, in
2017
, she completed her studies and a few months later,
she married Andrés, her current partner
. At the same time,
she got a job as a gym teacher at a school
in the city, gaining professional experience in the field.
As time went by, they suffered several robberies, which caused them a lot of fear, according to her. For this reason, in search of
greater security and economic stability
, they chose to live an experience abroad.
In this way, they sold their belongings and
took a ticket to Italy
. Thus,
in April 2019
, with a mix of emotions, they found themselves at the Ezeiza International Airport, clinging to their suitcases,
which held the memories of an entire life
.
Thanks to the fact that they both have European citizenship, they chose to migrate to
Europe
, since this document gives them the possibility of
residing, working and studying in any country in the European Union
.
“Upon arrival, some friends hosted us in the
Province of Udine, in northeastern Italy
. There, we had our first contact with the country and
we were fascinated by that city
,” says the professional.
Captivated by the incredible landscapes, the security and tranquility with which people lived in the city,
they decided to settle there permanently
. What they did not imagine was that
this choice would change their lives forever
.
Not having knowledge of the language, Evelyn worked in different fields until she got the
job of her dreams: working in an Italian school
. “I got a job pretty quickly. I started working as a babysitter, which
helped me a lot to learn Italian
. At the same time,
they hired me as a maintenance employee
,” the woman asserts.
“
The first months were difficult
, especially because of the language and
the culture shock
. The positive thing is that
we never lacked work, we were able to move forward
and achieve our goals
,” the Argentine adds with emotion.
The surprising thing was that a few months later,
at the end of 2020
, he was encouraged to fight for one of his greatest goals:
founding his own company
.
The emergence of “Nonstop”
In this way, after much effort,
he was encouraged to create a venture, called “Non-stop”
, an entity dedicated to
managing Italian citizenships
. In it, he advises, helps and facilitates the process of obtaining that document that
many foreigners consider vital
.
Evelyn plays the role of translator
while her work colleague, who is a lawyer, is in charge of legal management.
“I spread the business through social networks, and thanks to that,
I was contacted by “Udinese Calcio”, an Italian Serie A soccer team
, to request my services.
It was incredible
,” the entrepreneur explains with joy.
She gets a lot of satisfaction from helping people, according to her words. Even several families of
professional soccer players looked for a way to emigrate to the country
and Evelyn
made it possible
.
In
2022
, he lived a unique experience when
Nahuel Molina
,
one of the world champions
and player of that soccer club - at that time -,
entered his studio,
in order to
process Italian nationality
.
“I couldn't believe it, I was working with a
player from the Argentine National Team and champion of the 2022 Soccer World Cup
. I would never have imagined it, he was in our house, with incredible simplicity and humility. In short, he passed on his contact to me, which generated many job opportunities for me,” Evelyn happily mentions.
From that moment on,
his life took a 180 degree turn
. “It has been difficult to be away from my loved ones, but
it was worth the effort
,” adds the young woman.
At the same time,
they do not forget their roots
and keep their Argentine customs intact:
they drink mate all day, they are soccer fans and they listen to folklore and chacarera
, in accordance with their words.
