The president made no reference to the explosions that were heard near the central city of Isfahan, which senior US officials cited by media presented as an Israeli attack.
There have been “no air attacks from outside the borders”
“The US media reports are not accurate,” Iranian space agency spokesman Hossein Dalirian said. He said there had "not been, so far, any air attacks from outside the borders against Isfahan or other parts of the country."
“They only made a failed and humiliating attempt to fly quadcopters, which were shot down,” he added in a message posted on X, without giving details of those responsible for these acts.
Only “a suspicious object” at the origin of the explosions
“Today's explosion in the skies of Isfahan was linked to the firing of anti-aircraft defense systems on a suspicious object which did not cause any accident or damage,” said the Commander-in-Chief. of the army, Abdolrahim Mousavi, according to the Tasnim news agency.
“Experts are studying the extent of the problem and will communicate after receiving the results,” he added.
“You have already seen Iran's reaction,” the commander said of a possible response decided by Tehran.
