Invited this Friday, April 19 on Europe 1 at the microphone of “Culture Médias” with Jean-Pierre Foucault, the godfather of the PAF gave his opinion on the presenters who could take over from him.

This Friday, April 19, Michel Drucker was the guest of the latest issue of “Culture Médias” that

Jean-Pierre Foucault

will present. After praising Drucker, whom he had presented at the start of the show as

"a little host who is just starting out",

Thomas Isle's replacement asks him who could succeed him.

“Jean-Pierre Foucault

,” he immediately quips. Then, in a question-and-answer game, the host invites him to react to the names of Léa Salamé, Hugo Clément, Camille Combal and Ophélie Meunier. They all receive the approval of

Michel Drucker

. After Foucault told him

“take risks, because if you always say “he's very good”, it's not funny”

, the host hesitates when the name of Yann Barthès is mentioned.

“That would be unusual,”

he says, smiling.

“But you would have to ask him that question.”

Drucker then adds an anecdote:

“We have one thing in common, he loves dogs!”

Among all these names, Michel Drucker places particular emphasis on that of Cyril Féraud.

“Ah, Cyril, I’ve been a fan since his debut,”

he assures.

The presenter of “Vivement Dimanche” on France 3 then qualifies his remarks: “

The problem is that they are all good!”

To close the debate, Anissa Haddadi relaunches the joke about Jean-Pierre Foucault

. “Jean-Pierre, he stands out,”

assures Michel Drucker.

“And then, he can’t, he’s back on Europe 1 at the start of the school year!”

“You need to come back to Europe 1”

Michel Drucker to Jean-Pierre Foucault

At the start of this discussion, Michel Drucker praised the career of Jean-Pierre Foucault:

“You have before you the absolute radio record holder

,” underlined the presenter.

“I have 60 years of flying hours in television, he is not far from 60 years in radio.”

Change to “Can’t wait for Sunday”

“When I heard you, it was as if I had left you yesterday, (...) you have to come back to Europe 1

,” he assured, before being quickly cut off by a

"THANKS !"

laughing Jean-Pierre Foucault, who doesn't seem to want a definitive return to radio.

During his interview, Michel Drucker also announced good news for his show broadcast on France 3: it will be extended by thirty minutes.

“I was asked if I agreed to work almost half an hour more,”

says the presenter.

“Usually, we are asked to reduce or leave, now they ask me to stay and do longer, so I’m not going to complain!”

The show will therefore soon take the slot from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Trois schedule.
