Friday evening, five celebrity/dancer duos competed in the semi-finals of
“Dancing with the Stars”
.
“They are one step away from the final. But it has never been so uncertain. Everyone will dance once and at the end of the first dance, the last one in the ranking will be eliminated
,” explained Camille Combal from the first minutes of this ninth bonus of season 13 of the TF1 dance competition.
“And for the remaining four, second round with the terrible test of improvisation. At the end of this dance, at home you will have a very important role since you and you alone will vote to choose the three couples who deserve to go to the final next week
,” added the host.
Inès Reg
and Christophe Licata opened the ball with a paso doble on
Carmina Burana
. A performance which particularly convinced the four jurors who awarded him three 9s and one 10, for a total of 37 points.
Natasha St-Pier
and Anthony Colette obtained 35 points with their waltz on
Renaud's
winning Mistral .
Nico Capone
and Inès Vandamme placed third with 31 points after their tango to the title of
Pretty Woman
.
Keiona
and Maxime Dereymez reached first place in the ranking with their Argentine tango to
Désenchantée
by Mylène Farmer thanks to which they obtained 38 points (two 10s and two 9s). And so it was
Roman Doduik
and Ana Riera who were the first eliminated with 29 points.
For the second round of this semi-final, the four couples still competing had to perform an improvised choreography. They discovered the required song and dance live. Then, they only had 1min45 to change outfits and get ready. In the same order, Inès Reg and Christophe Licata were the first to perform with an Argentinian tango on
Indila's
Last Dance
. Natasha St-Pier and Anthony Colette then defended their place with a rumba to
You are so beautiful
by Joe Cocker. Nico Capone and Inès Vandamme danced a samba to
Je danse le mia
by IAM. And finally, Keiona and Maxime Dereymez made a cha cha on
Vogue
by Madonna.
Throughout this time, viewers were repeatedly invited to vote for their favorite duo. Despite their first place in the ranking, Keiona and Maxime Dereymez obtained the fewest votes. Nothing to upset the drag queen.
“I really enjoyed doing this competition. I think I have once again shown that I am truly the Queen of France and I am very proud of it
,” she reacted.
