Iraqi security forces said today that there were no drones or planes in the air at the time of the explosion at the Calso military base.
No drones or fighter jets were seen in the air at the time of the overnight "explosion" that rocked a military base in central Iraq, security forces said in a statement today.
Citing "a report from the air defense command" and the radar inspection, the security forces assured that "there were no drones or fighter planes in the airspace of the Babil governorate before or during the explosion" which caused one death and 8 wounded among the forces stationed at the base.
