Japan's Naomi Osaka won the Chinese Open after beating world number one Ashley Barty of Australia 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the final.
Fourth-seeded Australian Open champion Osaka broke three times and lost her once in a one-hour and 50-minute showdown, Reuters reported.
It was Osaka's second title in Asia after winning the Pan Pacific championship in Japan last month.
