Pure relief at Gebensbach ESV.
Gebensbach - The ESV Gebensbach can still win - and deservedly with 8: 5 goals (3: 1, 3: 2, 2: 2) in Moosburg against EV Aich.
Personnel conditions at the ESV were less good than last. Goalkeeper Martin Lainer as well as Rudi Mayer and Tim Kerscher were sick - that resulted in 13 outfield players plus a goalkeeper. But they played refreshingly offensive and determined. Matthias Sellmair punished an Aicher puck loss with a big hit. An energetic Forechecking led to Florian Panthaler's 2: 0.
On the defensive, both sides fired some buck. So did the defenders Hobmaier and Beham before Aich's subsequent goal. Thomas Schalk falsified a rider shot to 3: 1. If Aich seemed to be approaching, the ESV always had the right answer. Cleverly at the 5-2, when Panthaler outnumbered after a great pass from Michael Reiter.
Aich wanted to know again after the second break. The Czech Ladislav Marek danced rider and goalkeeper Manuel Hammerlindl to a quick 4: 6. Original sound of the ESV defender after the game: "I needed a compass afterwards." After the fifth goal, ESV coach Alex Aigner took a break early. Two minutes later Nicholas Emmendorfer put the ESV back on the road to victory.
