In the midst of the scandal of the sexual assaults that currently occur in France, the Neymar case is resurfacing. Najila Trindade's lawyer has hinted that her client could file a complaint in France after seeing the one filed in Brazil in August 2019 be dismissed. This information comes from the program Fofocalizando, from the Brazilian television channel SBT. In May 2019, the girl accused the PSG star, who has just turned 28, of rape during a meeting in a large Parisian hotel. Today, the file could resurface.

The latter could file a complaint with French justice. A wish evoked by the lawyer via the Brazilian press which advances that this complaint could know a treatment and a different outcome in France compared to Brazil. To date, no complaint has been officially filed by the young woman and her advisers. The Neymar clan, which closely follows this affair and thought it had turned the page after the judgment rendered in recent months, fears a new media unpacking on the part of Najila Trindade. Still according to information from the Brazilian TV channel, the PSG player should not be convicted in the second part of the case, however. Faced with statements by Najila Trindade Mendes de Souza in June, Neymar had disclosed on social networks private messages with the model, which is prohibited by Brazilian justice.
