Erik Martori scored the lead for the new players early on before Pavlo Stohniienko made it 3-0 with two goals. Wackersdorf's plan was to disrupt the hosts early on and counterattack by taking the ball. "They also often tried to take one of our outside lane players out of the game," added Jerzewski. But the tactics of the guests only worked moderately. Neuried was well deserved and saw an increase in opportunities. Shortly before the break, the TVW came up with a goal to 1: 3, before Luis Gutierrez got the 4: 1 halftime score.
It was Gutierrez who contributed the 5-1 goal right after the start of the second half. However, the guests did not give up and continued to exert pressure. After their goals for 2: 5 and 3: 5 there was tension again, Vladimir Kovacevic and Stoyan Stoykov were the goalscorers. Subsequently, the Upper Palatinate were oppressively superior, but failed either on the post or the strong Srecko Miskovic in Neurieder Tor. "The players were pretty careless for a short time," said Jerzewski. The TSV coach reacted and took a break to calm his futsal again. "After the timeout, we were able to free ourselves from the Wackersdorf urge phase and had significantly more access to the game," explained the trainer.
The Würmtaler played again and subsequently appeared more confident. Martori's goal for 6: 3 was "very important for the home side, as the goal gave calm and self-assurance", said Jerzewski. The guests now also realized that they would leave the Würmtal without points. With his 18th goal of the season, Martori then made everything clear for Neuried, who continues to maintain his three-point lead over SV Pars Neu-Isenburg.
