Manchester City banned from European competitions by UEFA

The Mancunian club was sentenced to two years for "serious violations" of the rules of financial fair play. A sanction which he may however appeal.

Thunderbolt over Manchester City! This Friday, UEFA announced that the investigative chamber of the Club Financial Control Commission had decided to exclude the English club from all European competitions for the next two seasons. A penalty also accompanied by a fine of 30 million euros, but which can be the subject of an appeal to the arbitral tribunal of sport (CAS).
