Spaniard Pablo Cariño Busta passed a difficult test against Italian Yannick Sener and he beat 7-5, 36, 7-6 in a marathon match to qualify for the semi-finals of the Rotterdam Open tennis today.
Busta wasted three points to win the match when he was 5-4 ahead in the last set before saving two points after 6-4 in the tiebreak to win the victory after two hours and 45 minutes and set an appointment with the young Canadian Felix Oger Al Yassim.
El-Yassim had earlier defeated the Slovenian Ilyas Pedini 6-4 7-6 to qualify for the third semifinals in his career in the ATP championships.
