Zamalek won the Egyptian Super Cup in football for the fourth time in its history, after beating Tunisia's Esperance Sports 3 goals to 1 goal.
Zamalek opened the score early from the second minute through Youssef Ibrahim and then adjusted the result in favor of Algerian Esperance Abdel Raouf Ben Ghaith in the 54th minute of the penalty kick.
Moroccan Ashraf Bin Sharqi restored the lead to Zamalek by scoring the second goal in the 58th minute, then adding his second and third goals to his team in stoppage time to ensure the crowning of the fourth title in the club's history.
Zamalek won the title in 1994, 1997 and 2003, while Esperance won the title in 1995.
