Everything about Israeli coaches and Czech basketball becomes gold. The climax was in the summer, when Nano Ginsburg led the Czech team to sixth place in the world championships. This season, it seems, is brewing another impressive success. Nimburk, coached by Oren Amiel, is poised to get very far in the FIBA Champions League.

She finished the first-place home stage with the best balance in the factory - 2:12, and advanced to Tenerife, one of the title contenders. And yes, she also defeated her in Spain. What a difference compared to last season, where she did not even pass the home stage and finished with just four wins. In addition, the Czech club is the only one of the three big establishments that has not yet lost in the local league. Notice the monstrous balance: 0:25 (!).

Nimbork is the team that dominates Czech basketball (16 consecutive championships), much thanks to the Israeli colony. Beginning in 2006, a lineage of Israeli coaches was built there, and to this day the role goes from one generation to the next. The founder of the lineage is Molly Katzorn, who passed the baton to who was his assistant Nano Ginsburg, who left the responsibility in the hands of his assistant Oren Amiel.

While foreign coaches are flocking to the Israeli league, a blue-and-white coach is making a force in Europe. According to Ginsburg: "It's a pity on time, Oren is doing a great job. Their success right now is by no means, there's a way out there. They can go all the way, including Hapoel Jerusalem."

Ginsburg means that many mark Jerusalem as the best team in the season, and it should also host the Final Four if it does. Today, the eighth final draw will be held on Tuesday. Because both teams finished first - they could only meet in the Final Four.

"Games from Saturday to Saturday"
Ginsburg explains the model in building the team: "There are the team players, who are the base, plus a good choice of Oren Amiel foreigners. Not stars, but very committed to the team game."

And what does Ginsburg mean? Five players from his successful team: Yahomir Bochick, Vitek Ruben, Martin Kreiz, Pavel Pomperella and Martin Petrake. Add them to veteran Peter Banda - and you've got a great group that can definitely go a long way.

"In the summer, we made a decision on foreigners," explains Amiel, "to bring in players whose main characteristic is hunger. There are three foreigners, 23, and the combination with the Czechs created a strong connection of energy and ability."

The three young foreigners are center Dashon Booker and center Zach Hankins (factory blocker), and the surprising thing is that this is their first season as a pro. Forward Hayden Dalton has been doing so for a second season, and the other two foreigners are Michael Dixon (second term in the club, last season playing for the Herzliya) and Croatian Rocco Rogich.

So what are the ambitions this season in Europe?
"As the cliché article, 'games from Saturday to Saturday'. Every season the goal is to rise. This year, after the homes phase and following the ability, expectations of us have risen. The most important thing is that we get healthy to the next level."

Will we meet at the Final Four in Jerusalem?
"They will be there ... We will make an effort to join them."
