The transfer from Alexander Nübel to FC Bayern made waves in winter. In particular for the promising goalkeeper talent Christian Früchtl, the Nübel commitment is a slap in the face - the chances of a backup position among the professionals have therefore decreased significantly, especially since Sven Ulreich also wants to face the competition with Nübel. Früchtl is said to have asked within the club for a loan - his advisor Christian Rößner has already confirmed the interest of teams from the Premier League and the Bundesliga.
The "image" now provides more specific information. Accordingly, FC Augsburg showed special interest in loaning the young goalkeeper. With the Fuggerstädter Früchtl would have a chance of playing in the Bundesliga. The Czech Tomas Koubek is currently guarding the FCA goal, but this season the newcomer to the summer did not always make the safest impression.
A loan is considered secure in the Früchtl case. It was only in November that the record champion extended the contract of the third division regular keeper to 2022.
