Al-Zamalek Club won the title of Egyptian Super Cup champion by winning at the expense of its traditional competitor Al-Ahly on penalties in the final, which they gathered today in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
Zamalek settled the result of the match in his favor by penalty shootout 4-3 after his original time ended without goals.
This is the fourth time that Zamalek has won this title, while Al-Ahly holds the record number of times winning with 11 titles.
