Erding is beaten under value in the 4-0 loss to Miesbach

Erding - Actually, the Erding Gladiators didn't play that badly in the Friday game against TEV Miesbach. In the end, however, there was a 0: 4 defeat (0: 1, 0: 3, 0: 0), which was clearly too high. Ultimately, the smarter team won, with an outstanding goalkeeper Timon Ewert as backing, whose box was boarded up.

Both teams knew only one direction from the first second: forward. The fair game, which had an excellent manager in the main referee Martin Grech, went back and forth at extremely high speed, and the two goalkeepers Christoph Schedlbauer (Erding) and Ewert did not have to complain about lack of employment. The goalkeeper defused so-called hundred percent chances several times. Ewert, for example, saved spectacularly against Florian Zimmermann (5th), Jamie Hill (13th) and Martin Dürr (17th). Schedlbauer was in no way inferior to his Miesbach colleague. The first break had to be brought forward when the TEV goal was torn from the anchor in a duel in the 18th minute. As it went on, Erding was outnumbered, but just when the penalty had expired, a deflected shot by Franz Mangold struck 1-0 for Miesbach (20.).

At the beginning of the second section the gladiators were out of luck - and shortly afterwards also outnumbered when a covert shot from Sebastian Deml fell unsustainably close to the post to 2: 0 for Miesbach (29.). The gladiators resisted the impending defeat, but TEV keeper Ewert showed an incredibly strong performance. And if you're not lucky, there is usually bad luck. So on the opposite side a Sunday shot by Florian Feurreiter landed 3-0 in the Erdinger Netz (37th). And when the hosts outnumbered a fatal disc loss, Filip Kokoska closed the underpower break 40 seconds before the end of the third to 4: 0 - the decision.

The gladiators gave their all in the final third, but the puck just didn't want to score - even the powerplay didn't work against Passau as last. The physically immensely robust Miesbachers did not give up a millimeter to the last second and survived two undersized games in the final phase without damage. And so the game ended with the same result as the main round game. Somehow, the Miesbacher don't seem to like the gladiators.
