- Mirror Football (@MirrorFootball) February 21, 2020David Pannick is recognized as one of the best lawyers in the UK. In 2016, he notably represented Ginna Miller, a British businesswoman known for her opposition to Brexit, to prevent Theresa May from withdrawing Great Britain from the European Union without the consent of Parliament. Last September, the 63-year-old lawyer again represented the anti-Brexit activist against Boris Johnson.
Manchester City officials will spend nearly £ 20,000 a day (around 23,890 euros) to cover Mr Pannick's legal costs, and hope that his expertise can help the club overturn UEFA's decision.
